hero lab and fantasy grounds

Hello. I have exported one char in xml and try to import in fg, but doesn't appears in the pc characters,although it says in fg chat that i imported that character.you know what the problem is?

As far as I know FG doesn't support importing a 5e character from HeroLab yet.

That's odd, PCGen 5e characters import mostly fine.

Let me add my vote for a 5e Hero Lab character export to Fantasy Ground import. Very much like to see this..

Would probably take a community member to write something to import it. For PCGen, someone wrote an export style for PCGen itself so that it would import to Fantasy Grounds.

The chaps at HeroLab and the chaps at Smiteworks are talking together to make importing from HeroLab possible as far as I know. How far along the process is I do not know, nor do I know the technicalities, but there was confidence at HeroLab that it would be done when I spoke to them at GenCon.

The current pcgen format works for 5e I believe.
