What did I do?

Because of some health issues on my part, my group has not played in a while. We were able to play last night and one character had a weapon he wanted to give to the other PC. So I just grabbed the entry in the actions tab and dragged it onto the other character sheet. closed both sheets, then when the PC I dragged the weapon from opened his sheet all his weapon actions were gone except for one.

What exactly did I do and what is the right way to trade equipment?

Probably from A to Party Sheet then to B. At least that's how I'd do it.

Probably best to drag the item from the inventory rather then from the actions tab.
