Hey all, I really like the 3.5e basic theme and was wondering if there was a way to use it when playing with the 5e rulesets.
Currently the leather look is just too bland for me.

Welcome!

You could create your own theme (using an extension), it's not too hard and there are some tutorials for it. If interested, start with this page in the wiki; https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php/Extensions

But check out these resources first:

This thread has dungeon & wood themes (and other excellent extensions) in it: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?20320-FG-3-0-CoreRPG-Extensions

There is a leather theme about half-way down on this page: https://www.fg-con.com/free-downloads/

I'm sure I'm missing other available themes as well.

Finally, since you're new, make sure you check out this thread: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?27296-Guides-videos-and-other-helpful-information

Thanks LordEntrails! Already checked 'em out and have been messing with FG a bit, but that theme was just bugging me and I couldn't get any work done with it looking all leathery. ;)
I was poking around and I think I got it...just unzipped 3.5e.pak and 5e.pak and copied files around and rezipped and it's coming up very nicely although the Story icon isn't there, but if I click there the story window will come up.

I'd suggest you make an extension, that way you don't mess with the standard files. Plus when FG is updated you don't risk loosing your changes.

Basically you just put the files you want from 3.5 into a new zip and then when you load the campaign you can select to load in your extension.
