LMG (league of Mature Gamers) is an online gaming community for adult gamers that started on Xbox One. We are expanding and including tabletop RPGs in our lineup. We are a fun friendly bunch :) We currently have a couple of D&D Groups getting set to go and are also interested in starting possibly a white wolf game or maybe a star wars game as well. We are always looking for experienced DMs and players both new and experienced. We will be playing over skype. We have a website and also use a chat app to discuss ideas and plan events. restricted to 18 and older. To join just sign up on our website Lmgamers.net

Just getting this up and started by the looks of your website.

It may have escaped your notice, but Roll20 and Fantasy Grounds are two completely separate VTT (virtual table top) solutions. You may find the odd Roll20 user here, but (obviously) the vast majority will be FG based.

Thanks for the reply! Yeah we're just getting this thing off the ground. It's been very popular among our group so we're trying to expand into tabletop rpgs.

Cool. I mentioned the difference between FG and Roll20 because coming here and saying you're planning on using it is kind of like going to a CoD board and recruiting for a Battlefield based clan.

That said, the games you list on your website all require legitimate paid copies to play multiplayer. In that vein, you should certainly check out FG because you get what you pay for.

Good luck with your group.

Ragnarok either which direction you want to go, do keep in mind that this community is always looking out to answer any questions, concerns, or issues you have in determining what is right for you and your groups. The embracing nature of this community I think is a bit more genuine with the majority of people valuing FG after spending actual money and seeing a return from our investment.

Depending on the number of your groups, the expected group size, and what systems you are actually trying to run I think getting a trial subscription to an ultimate license would work. Showcasing that to you and your potential players will let you see how something like Fg which is more automated and calculating can be a bit more convenient in terms of speed and accessing/modifying resources once the initial learning curve is overcome.

Were just using Skype at the moment until we get groups more established then we will look at fg once we have introduced our new players to the system. How much is fg?

There are a couple license types for FG. The $20 Lite one can only join games, and the $40 Full one can host them.

But if you go all out and get the $120 Ultimate license, you can even host games for people who haven't bought any license.

Iirc there's a month of free trial available too, for if you're unsure.
