The Fantasy Grounds system is awesome!

I would like to know if Smiteworks would consider working with Catalyst to produce and market Shadowrun 5e content.

I have posted a comment on the Shadowrun Forums (see link below)
https://forums.shadowruntabletop.com/index.php?topic=24444.0

It would be great if the Fantasy Grounds community could post some comments on both this and the above forum.
Lets try and get the two companies talking.

This would create value for both companies, and it would also enable us (the gaming community) to continue to play the games we love on the best VTT around.

Agreed, Shadowrun is an amazing setting and would love to try it out in Fantasy Grounds. I've been reading through the fifth edition core rulebook (pdf) and it is definitely a heavy ruleset and has changed a bit since I played way back when in 1st edition! Are there any games being run on FG (even without official support ?)

Oh and on a side note- whay the &%% is the physical fifth edition core rulebook selling for hundreds of dollars ? Is it out of print already or very limited?

Yes there is, although the limits for equipment is hard to do right now. Check our Ianmwards existing 4e ruleset (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?24935-Updated-CoreRPG-based-Shadowrun-4E-Rulest) and that gets you 3/4 of the way there.
