I am curious why there hasn't been an active chat function for the Fantasy Grounds website. Maybe it's just me but I feel LFG LFP could benefit fromantic this especially for last minute groups needingredients players. What's your all thoughts on this.

I believe most of the real-time interaction is handled through the community TeamSpeak server, see this thread (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?17071-Voicechat!-Community-TeamSpeak3-Server).

I also know someone has setup a Discord server, information here (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?26556-Discord-server-for-the-Fantasy-Grounds-Community).

We had one linked on the front page for a while and it was rarely used. We removed it until we can implement something in-app that will be more appropriate.

Critical Role has a discord server that is essentially what you're talking about. It would be really easy to setup one for discord where people can pop in and play. Today, my group had a couple people missing so I grabbed a couple people from their LFG section and ran a one shot with half of my normal party and two randoms and it worked out really well.
