How do I stop a link list in a story?

So, I'm making a table of contents in the story. I pressed ctrl 5 to make a line a link item. I hit enter, and it creates another link item automagically. I no longer want link items. How do I get it to stop making link items?

Right click and from the radial menu select Body Text
