I decided to see what would happen if I made a multiclass PC at 12th level, one in each class.
The results were interesting.
I started with Barbarian, it is alphabetically first and has a d12 HD, so...
He ended up being double proficient in Perception (Expertise), so his passive is 19.
He's a human with 14, 14, 14, 13, 13, 13 so he meets all prerequisites.
With 16 cantrips and 14 prepared spells, he's quite formidable and versatile.
With no armor or shield, if using Mage Armor as his first spell slot after resting, his AC (with Fighting Style Defense) is 18.
I'm going to save him in case I ever get into a game that starts at 12+ level.
His name is Wm. C. Rubdib Forepaws (anagram for the first letter of each class and the five vowels) -- NERD ALERT!!
Have a look...
