OK I'm throwing my stupid out there.

I was wondering if there's a way of reducing the HP's of a character instead of adding wounds?

current; char gets hit for 5 i add that to 'wounds'
would like; char gets hit for 5 i deduct 5 from HP's

The HP field is linked to the HP entry on the character sheet. Reducing HP would therefore reduce the HP max that the character has and so you'd lose track of what their actual max was. With an extension, it would be possible to create a new field that showed HP minus Wounds. Someone would have to code such an extension.

To be perfectly honest, this is an occasional request from new/new-ish FG users, but once you've used FG a few times seeing wounds as counting up rather than remaining HP counting down becomes second nature.

kk, thought it might be that way. As I'm using FG purely as a tracker; running a PBEM, I would like to be able to align the HP tracking system with standard DnD practices as the players don't connect to my session.

Thanks for the reply

Copy HP to TMP on the CT. The TMP field is a "count down" field.

That's just crazy enough to work! I'll give it a shot.
