Demo Char Creation

Hello Guys,
Me and some friends are looking to get into the whole pen&paper stuff.
So I volunteered to DM because it was my Idea.

We want to play 5e.
Now my current Plan is to buy Lost Mine of Phandelver and get a Fantasy Ground Ultimate Subscription.
Now my Question is can the players using the Demo just join my Server and create their own Chars with the baisc ruleset coming with Lost Mine of Phandelver?

Yes.

And also, as an FYI, you get the 5E ruleset, the SRD library and the 5E Basic Rules library with your base FG subscription. Lost Mines of Phandelver doesn't give you any extra character generation libraries.

Welcome ollidiemaus! And a big warm hoorah for taking on the GM role!
As Trenloe says you do get the ruleset and the SRD - this is not the whole PHB and MM but it is a very good resource and you also get the Basic rules (which may be a better fit for LMoP and its pre-gens).
Your players can use the included pre-gens or can create new characters while connected to your game session.
