So, I'm trying my hand at making some tokens for myself. I'm no artist, but am a CAD guy, so I made a crude model. So, did I do a good job? Can you tell what this is?

Looks like a ballista. My biggest suggestion would be to add in the swing arm, but that'd only be for accuracy's sake. It's recognizable as is. Otherwise, good job. I'd definitely make sure that my characters were on the back end if I saw it on the battlemap!

See? I am no artist too, not even a “CAD guy”. But I am trying to make some things too.

For my personal games, I was simply picking things from Dundjinni forums, people have posted marvelous pieces of art there.
But I am also trying to build things I can freely share and/or sell, so I need to make them myself.


This is my first attempt… but those things are really hard to make! Lol

That paint brush guy is crazy. He makes it look easy, but I don't think it is.

Here's a perspective view. Yea, it's a ballista. I wanted something simple and evocative. It's no where near technically accurate, but for a token, it sounds like I got it pretty good. My wife almost was able to figure out what it was *g*
