I have an animated object as an npc creature in the combat tracker.
It has hardness 5.
I know that hardness isn't really available in the ruleset, but I thought I could apply dr 5 adamantium as an effect to the construct to automatically remove the 5 points of rolled damage across the board - but it's not working.
I'm sure I'm doing it wrong?
I've created the effect named as: Hardness 5; DR 5 adamantium
I've set the creature active in the combat tracker
I've set the creature to target itself
I've dragged the hardness 5 effect out of the effects library to the creature in the combat tracker
the creature's effects panel now shows the hardness 5 applied by itself
So far, all damage rolls against the construct by PC's apply full damage.
They are all using standard melee weapons, Iron swords, axes and warhammers.
Not sure what I'm doing wrong?

You're missing the colon after DR. Use DR: 5

And it's adamantine for the damage type.

The valid damage types are listed under the Modifiers table in the 3.5E/PF Effects Wiki: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php/3.5E_Effects#Modifiers
