Doing my 5 mile walk today and on my playlist was the GameSchool podcast (https://gameschool.tsrpn.com/2016/06/11/game-school-23-thunder-classic-role-playing/) where they talked with the designers of the Thunder RPG (https://thunderrpg.com/) which is currently free to download. Rules, Bestiary, Character Sheet all free on their site.
Inspired by 3.5 and AD&D so probably would work on CoreRPG here too.
