What do you guys think about starting a steam group for savage worlds

Is there any difference between running a game on Steam connection wise? I have FG. I have Steam but not FG on Steam.

Nope, you can play with people who are running through Steam, or not, none of it makes a difference :)

I think a steam group for savage worlds would be a good way to hang out, get new players, help players find groups, start a quick game and help each other. What do you guys think

I found the group as well as the much larger FG group, but couldn't join for some reason.

I got a friend request from one of the group members but no invite. I'm guessing I can't join because I don't have the FG on Steam. I'm certainly not going to buy it a second time. :D

If you've had your license for at least a couple months, you should be able to register your license key on Steam.

Just sent you a friend request, I'll try and send you a group invite. Have you tried adding a "Non Steam game to your library"? Don't know for sure if that will work.

Okay it looks like the invite worked without adding the game manually. Yay. Thanks! I haven't played SW much... at all. :D But I do have it for FG and some print books too.
