Verizon wireless and Port Forwarding

Hey everyone. Figured I would post this after spending 2 hours on the phone with Tech Support yesterday.

If you are like me and travel for a living or have been wanting to connect to FG and cant, and are using a Verizon Phone, or Verizon Jetpack Mifi, here is why Verizon currently only offers one Jetpack unit that is capable of Port Forwarding.

Verizon Jetpack Model: AC791L

I am most likely going to be upgrading to that unit within the next few weeks. Hopefully it fixes my issue. If not its back to Roll20 for me..( Sad face)
Will post back here if it works or if it does not work.
If anyone else has had any luck with that particular Jetpack. Please let us know!

If you're running a configuration that plain doesn't support port forwarding then you can use Hamachi (info here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?20309-GM-Connection-Issues-Tried-Everything-Try-Hamachi) or a VPN service provider (info here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?20160-Using-a-VPN-Service-Provider-to-get-around-port-forwarding-issues).

I've frequently GM'd FG games from hotels and over cellphone internet using such a solution. Might be cheaper than upgrading your Jetpack.
