You can create your campaign, do your prep, etc. without any connectivity. I'm assuming you're getting a failed connection test? This will always fail with Hamachi - which is just a last resort way of allowing players to connect to you. More info here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?20309-GM-Connection-Issues-Tried-Everything-Try-Hamachi But, it is best to try to get your connectivity working without Hamachi - damned has PM'd you to try to help.

And to re-iterate what I said above - you only need a successful connection test when you are ready for players to join, you don't need this when setting up your campaign as all of your campaign data is stored locally on your computer.
