Make sure you actively browse the GM posts as in most cases the games will fill up fast and GMs wont come to you.
Express your interest on games that match your timing/availability.
Also play some one shots or PFS if they are available - if nothing else you get a game, you learn the platform and you meet new people which will help with more gaming opportunities.
