Will there ever at some point be a search function?

At times, checking for the existence of certain controls becomes an Easter egg headache.

Ken L I use google and search like this:

windowclass site:www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/

And it will only return results from that site/subsite

I believe those documents are in the refdoc/ directory on the server.

I was just going to suggest what damned did, or you can also use inurl: operator too.

Actually the title is promising, but I didn't see any links to the bolded section ;)
XML and Scripting Reference

I'd love to find a detail of the various db.xml xml formal for various types of data.

Was trying to fix things in Parse (unfortunately starting from 0.0.6-b7 since current public PAR5E version's source was not avail on git.

Found the problem recognizing backgrounds (possibly other categories, started on just that one) with "list" anywhere in the name, e.g. Caravan Specialist, Foolist (Foolyst is fine ;))

But alas the version I have doesn't even output the element in question.

The XML reference in question is for the construction of the FG controls etc., not for the database. Look at windowcontrol as an example: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/refdoc/windowcontrol.xcp The "Definition" section details the control XML.

It's more this:
https://www.fantasygrounds.com/refdoc/

Mentally, I'm wishing for a search box in the upper right that only searches the Ref docs.

The XML windowing structure I'm familiar with given I work on android, but it's difficult to find what I'm looking for in terms of attributes, and what's settable by attributes vs. what can be done functionality.

I dont know if there is a cost involved but SW might be able to add another Google Custom Search Engine that confines its search to that base url....
