Traveller 5 Monday Game Interest

Hi all, I am planning to run a traveler 5 game on FG, and am looking for players. I intend to get everyone together for character creation, and create them together. We would also go over rules and such, and what kind of game we would want. So, if you feel you are up to a Monday night Traveller 5 Game, then give me a holler. It will be every Monday Starting at six PM EST.

I'll be there. I read the material over and over and even found a couple corrections to what I already did (ie you can only have a single major and single minor per educational institution). I still have not really figured out how learning the knowledge skills works (for me that is mostly pilot skills thru the academy and hopefully flight school). I think I saw a couple contrary examples and need to focus in enough to compare them and the text and figure that out. I'll try to be up to speed on that by Monday eve. See everyone then!

How is this game going? Do you guys like the ruleset? Any particularly good or bad things about it?

The character creation is a bit more complex than it needs to be, but once read through and understood, is not too bad. there are 13 careers and various schools, and even different classed skills. As far as gameplay, I have been running it a little while on a play by post site, and so far its not too bad. Once you get past character creation, it all falls into place.

So, all in all so far, I like it.

I'm familiar with Traveler, honestly it was always almost more of a game to create characters than to play it. :)
I was wondering about the actual FG ruleset and what folks thought of it as a tool for playing the game.

I'd like to play in this but I have not seen a schedule or a calendar, or indeed, the alias of the tabletop to connect to.
