SRD vs. module question

I'm currently on an adventure, using the D&D 5e SRD. If I upgrade to the full rule set, is that going to cause trouble with the work I have already done? I don't want to waste the time I've already put into the adventure.

No, you can continue to have the SRD modules open and usable, even if you buy the official full modules for PHB, DMG, and/or MM.
