I have a question. When you are playing a module that is not set up in fantasy grounds, like say something you bought on dmsguild, do you put in all the text, notes, etc that are in there, or do you just put in maps and encounters and run the rest from the pdf or printed product? I like having the complete module in FG, but putting it all in is really time consuming.

Depends on whether its a voice or text game, if it's voice you just need the maps, images, and encounters.

If its text you need the above plus any thing that needs relayed to the players.

Even in a voice game I do put the longer parts in a chat box so I can just throw them into the chat window. The reason is, inevitably, someone asks me to repeat something in the third line of a 76 line paragraph...

It depends on your style of play and how much preparation you like to do. I agree with chanceboon; I like to have lot's of 'flavour' text and chats prepared for any situation.

I'd want everything in FG because I can link it all up and do things that I can't do with a pdf. However if I were to do this I'd be spending more time putting stuff into FG than I would be anything else. Hence I only run modules that are already in FG :)

Once you get good at it, you can get things entered in pretty quick. It is just entering the data that is dull..

/e attempts to get back to converting the next module of the AP he is running

One more point on entering data.
If you have some key messages, descriptions, dialogues that might contain clues or info relevant to later on....
Posting the text to chat means the players always have access to it.... if they think about it...

And it really doesnt take that long - especially if you just prep enough for the next session.

Here's what was most useful for me when it came to comprehending the best way to layout the info from each chapter. I never used the parse stuff. However I did lay it out in that manner in my Story
