d6 System may be coming back to life

Nocturnal Media acquired West End Games (https://www.nocturnal-media.com/blog/2016/4/13/nocturnal-media-acquires-west-end-games) and so there may be a resurrection of the core/basic d6 System.

I just keep thinking I should pick a non-existing ruleset and try to build one. d6 may be a bit much for me to start with, though.

I should probably do something even simpler like an extension first.

There's my Star Wars d6 ruleset, which is a little dated in comparison now and is character sheet only. It would be a place to start from, as it handles the Wild Die.
