Hi Team FG,

I'm sure you guys have some awesome plans for the new version but has anybody tried setting different fog's of war so that what is revealed is different for each character. Out of 6 players two of them have darkvision 60 Feet. Let's keep in mind that I use FG for a local game with two laptops. Like the dice that change color when you click on that character it would be nice to have the same thing happen to the fog of war. is that something that is doable?

DM Laptop (server)

Player Laptop (for the six players) hooked up to projector.

Not with the current architecture but who knows what the future might bring.

It would be nice to get a token's POV when it is selected.

I know this would require a multitude of layers though. So many layers. I'm not a coder, so I'm not sure how intense that code would be, but something tells me, it would be pretty intense.

The closet thing I've ever seen to this is Roll20's Dynamic Lighting. It's pretty sweet. But, it can drag and slow the game. My players with less than optimal systems have seen massive lag whenever I'd run games with Dynamic Lighting. If I were to increase the size of the map, or the complexity of the Dynamic Elements, it can even crash some people's machines.

While cool, I've learned to live without token-specific POV and simply managed it with the shift+click, shift+control+click showing and hiding of the fog of war. With the 3.1.6 FG update a while back, loading times of revealing or hiding fog of war got a lot faster. So it's not as much of a hassle as it used to be.

Same here. We manage pretty well thus far but with all these cool extensions community members are making you never know what's out there!

Thanks:)
