Hi, New to Fantasy Grounds

Hi there,
I have just purchased the standard edition through steam as a guinea pig for our gaming group, I'm curious about a few things.
First off, where are the included map and tokens found? I have been playing around in the files and cant seem to locate them.
Second, I have figured out how to build PC's in the menu, takes a while but not too difficult, I'm curious about building NPC's as a DM, Where would I do this? Is it just part of the create campaign menu?

Hi, Ocrow87 welcome to Fantasy Grounds and to the Community.

You will find the maps which come with FG by clicking on the Library Button down the right hand side of your screen and then on the modules button. This will open up all the modules you have. You need to open the module by either double clicking on it or click-dragging the little book icon to the left to open it. The maps will then be available in the library window and in the images and maps button.

For tokens is pretty much the same procedure except you start by clicking the Tokens button, then modules. Open up any token packs and they will then be available by clicking on the tokens button.

For building characters you'll need to specify for what ruleset you are using before I can direct you where to find precise information but a good place to start is the Wiki (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page).

You will find many videos and articles there to get you going. If it's 5e you are interested in then look here for the character creation wiki (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php/5E_Character_Sheet) and here for videos (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nurEMR4JJeU).

Thank you very much for your help, I got the tokens and maps sorted out no problem. Found that the npc creation has to be done through encounters. Getting the hang of it. Thanks again for your help.
