Hi. If anyone can point me in right direction to post: looking for a GM, DM etc who can log on team speak and teach me how to DM using FG

Might need 1hr 2-3 sessions to grasp how to create module from scratch.

Available days to learn rotate but I can give monthly time table and it will always be 9am-4pm pacific standard time

Tried YouTube but I'm better at real communication and q&a.

Reason: my schedual to be a player just doesn't seem to work in FG, So I'd rather learn to create modules and have better luck DMing games.

Thanks for any help

Creating a module is easy. GMing takes more learning.
Have you looked at these short (2-7mins each) videos?
Poor quality videos, good content.

You might find this longer (90mins) session useful too... but Id look at the short ones first.

in the videos i linked to i use Castles&Crusades but the concepts are valid for all rulesets.
5e has a lot more to lean in that it has more features but something that is really important for new (to FG) GMs to learn (and accept) is you dont need to do everything and use everything. start simple. learn story and map use, and then learn combat basics (add pcs and npcs to CT and then to map, targetting, applying untargetted attacks/damage).
everything else can come later when you are comfortable with the above.

You'll find also a great deal of tutorial resources in the sticky threads at the top of the 5e forum (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?68-5E).

DMing is not something that you can necessarily teach someone becasue it depends too much on your personality and the style of adventure you and your players want to run. I will DM a game completely differently to how damned might do it and how you would do it. If you are new to DMing in general then I would suggest that you run something like the Lost Mines of Phandelver as a starting adventure. It's designed for beginner DMs and players and even includes pre generated characters. It will give you a very good idea of how a module is constructed.

I'd be more than happy to help you get started. I'll walk you through everything that I know and show how I do it, so you can get up and running.
