anyone sell boardgame style tokens (look like square cardboard chits) like you would get with a fantasy boardgame like Beastlord or Dragon Pass?

You can get all the Dragon Pass pieces from the VASSAL mod for the game.

https://www.vassalengine.org/wiki/Module:Dragon_Pass

Just open the .vmod archive with 7zip and they are in the images folder.

Here are images of Beastlord counters:

thanks! that was going to be my plan but thought I would ask here as some sellers don't sell through the FG store.

It will be for myself and I will try the VASSAL route.

kylania, I'm not familiar with Vassal and a quick look at the site didn't give me a good idea. I love Dragon Pass, does this mean I can play it on a VTT?

Yeah, Vassal is basically a VTT. Vassal itself is a java program engine. Then you can download a TON of mods for it, which are basically the playing pieces of a game.

The game I use it mostly for is Advanced Squad Leader. The mod gets you all the counters and all the maps. Then there are scenario setups you can get too which are basically the pieces used all selected for you. There are enhanced ones too which have easy to use turn counters, special rules tracking and startup color codes.

What you don't get however is any of the rules. With the scenarios too you don't get the historical setup or the victory conditions for the most part. So while it has all the pieces you need to play, you still need to have the rules in order to actually play it.

For Dragon Pass it looks like you get all the counters, the map board, the Attack Table image (plus a few others -, missile file, bat hunger, dwarf luck, etc), a random events table, a turn track image and a very simple 1d6/2d6 dice roller. So the parts to play, but you'll need the rulebook to make sense of it all! :) You will be able to play with others online though. Just click the connect button <- -> one and make your own room. You'll need Teamspeak or Skype or something for voice chat.

I play it PBEM style where we send log files back and forth. Some the modules are pretty basic while others like Squad Leader and Mage Knight manage much if the game for you. Like mentioned above, you will need the rules and many games that have cards, only a portion of the card text is available.

Thanks for the info. Got the rules, got the box. Just don't play it much because of the setup time, space required, and an uninterupted play time. But, with this I wouldn't need worry about any of those. I did finally find more info about it, and browsed some of the modules. Several available modules there I would enjoy playing that the boxes are stored away in my garage.

Thanks guys :)
