Greetings All,
I'm using Fantasy Grounds to run my home game. I currently log in as the dm and then launch another copy and log into the game and show this copy on my TV screen mounted in the game table. Is there a way to hide the dice so that they do not show? Also, is this the best way to use FG for home/local games?

Hi. Slayyne and welcome to Fantasy Grounds and to the community.
Lots of people seem to use FG like this but I can't say if it's the best way but it certainly works. See this post here (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?25600-Using-FG-at-the-tabletop) for example. There's a few other posts scattered about that covers this topic if you do a search for them.
As for hiding the dice; go into options and set the Chat: Show DM rolls to 'Off'. this will hide the dice rolls made by the GM. More information on all of the options here (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php/5E_Options).

Assuming you want to remove the 3D dice from the screen? The best you can do (without a custom extension which would hide them for the GM as well) is to manually move the dice as far out of the way as possible and then set their position. See "changing tabletop dice position" here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php/Dice

I think Slayyne might mean the dice showing on the desktop, they get in the way when you are trying to do a full screen map. I think I used to pick them up ans throw them and they went behind the map window? In either case and option to hide the dice from the desktop would be nice for using FG on tabletop

+1 for Hiding Dice from the screen.
It expands the use of the program. Makes it more marketable. Increases overall gaming functionality. Nice suggestion.

I dont believe there is any way to hide the dice. If you remove the dice from the desktop it removes them from the game.
This extension will stack them almost on top of each other but that is about all you can do...
