So in my Saturday night game, the DM uses a custom crit system (PFRPG), where if you crit, you do max damage (but not extra damage). I have a spell set up that does a maximized 1d6+6 (my character's max damage), but it always rolls an extra D6 as if we were using the crit rules. Is there a way to turn this off, so that it's not rolling extra dice?
