Our next session is just under 6 hours from this post, so if you can get things sorted quickly you could play today! For future reference that's 10.30pm New Zealand Time Friday, GMT +13.
The party is currently exploring an old temple inside a jungle on a strange island. They have turned down the chance to leave the island recently in favour of hunting for ancient relics, and helping an npc party member complete a (suicidal) quest. They have encounters dinosaurs, pirates, primitive tribesmen, weird spider people, giant crocodiles and a lot more on their way to the exalted heights of level 4.
If you're keen on joining in you need to get building that character fast.
The party is currently:
Ugly as hell gnome sorcerer.
Uncaring and aloof elf archer
Feisty and steadfast human wizard
Resilient meatshield dwarf cleric
Tree hugging elf monk
A fighter type (pally, barb, ranger, fighter, or multi) that ctually goes toe to toe with the enemy could be a good fit. That said the party is doing fine without so you could make anything as long as you don't stand on any toes :)
Your character can start at level 4. Standard point buy, standard equipment.
If someone manages to get in fast today I'll get the server up early so you can make your character with some of my unique options.
