1. Is it possible for me to access the data of, lets say the 5e players handbook, sword coast players guide and elemental evil players guide, and copy-paste it into a new datamodule so that the player-relevant content from all 3 books appeared in the new module under unified headers?

2. Could I then further modify the data so that new archetypes appeared in the relevant class-files, etc?

3. If the answer to the above is yes, would automizations between the resulting character sheets and the virtual tabletop work as normal, or would they be broken?

:)

PS: Would I need programming skills to accomplish this, and if so at what level?

1. No.
2. No.
3. They would work fine if you did manage to do it.

The modules are encypted so you cannot access their raw data.

These three modules will all work in conjunction with one another at the moment provided you have all three open.

For example you can take one of the races from the elemental evil companion and drag that into a character sheet and then you can drag in one of the backgrounds from the Sword Coast guide and then drag in one of the archetypes from the same source or from the PHB or any combination.
