Game Table Not Saving Current State

Hello!

Our DM has been running a game on the 5th Edition D&D table, and over the last few sessions we've noticed that changes on character sheets, notes, and even the positions of token on the map are not being saved. Any advice?

In talking with our DM, he mentioned that he was running two simultaneous instances of FG so that he'd have more real estate on a second monitor. Maybe that's causing the problem?

Don't run two GM instances of FG running the same campaign. They will both be accessing the same database and not saving data will be the least of your worries, it will be very easy to corrupt the campaign data completely. If the GM wants to run on a second monitor, stretch one instance of FG across the two monitors.

If running only one instance still doesn't save, get the GM to start FG as administrator - right-click on the startup icon and select "Run as Administrator".
