Hi,
I a just have a problem with port 1802 forwarding.
I am on mac
My firewall is off and I have a TP-LINK TD-WD-8970.
I followed all the tutorials and open 1802 on my router, but whatever I do when I run the test I have a FAILURE on FG
I run the test on several web site and they all told me that my 1802 port is close.
I try to run FG by steam, wineskin and wine.
I already read a dozen of subject about it on the forum but nothing worked.
I am out of solution, any one can help ?

Hi Atarashii, welcome to the community.
As well as having Port 1802 open in your router you'll need to make sure that you have also set up a rule in your AV software to allow FG to see through it. If you are using a wireless system then you'll also need to make sure that your router is routing everything to the right computer (yours). By that I mean that the router is sending the information to the correct internal IP address. There may also be particular things about macs but since I don't use one I'm not sure what else; but the two things above are the most common problems that I see here.

thanks for the quick answer
For the test I desativated my firewall and my AV is ok.
I setup a rule who allow out and in on LAN and WAN on my computer IP address.
Using steam wine or wineskin is the same thing for opening the port ?
I not bad with computer but not a specialist either, I am gonna look for other topic and trying other solution during this time.

No just some confusion with WineSkin/CorrectHost/Where in the router to configure. Atarashii was close...
