View Full Version : Help with "ERROR-GetProducts:Network:Connecting to Host retrying in 10 seconcds"

My players keeps getting this message. We checked the settings in the Fantasy Grounds Updater to ensure that the folders were pointed to the right place, but he keeps getting the following Error message:

"ERROR-GetProducts:Network:Connecting to Host retrying in 10 seconcds"

We logged in to the community as well to ensure that Fantasy Grounds would be able to track if he has any purchases etc. We are still getting the message.

Any ideas on how to help?

Check your AV application isn't blocking the FG updater. Info on a user with the same error message here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?27451-ERROR-Message-when-Updating

That error message is basically saying that the FG Updater can't access the network, which as Trenloe mentioned usually boils down to third party security software blocking network access (Norton, McAfee, Windows Firewall, etc.).
