Hi

According to the User's guide, there's a way to Enable / Disable the image toolbar, but I can't seem to find this feature
Is there any other way to disable the toolbar?

From the user's guide:
"Enable the image tool bar by clicking on the icon in the upper left corner of the image. This will enable the image toolbar for clients as well."

Cheers!

Hi Diogo and welcome to Fantasy Grounds

That instruction in the guidance may be old; I'm not sure but there has never to my knowledge been an enable or disable the image toolbar. But we might be talking about different things.

At an rate on a plain image (let's say a map since this is I assume what you are talking about too) there will be a small toolbar allowing you to mask the image, draw on it or use an eraser. Those can't be removed, so if that's what you are talking about then you can't do it. If you now draw a grid on your map then you get another toolbar to enable the grid to be moved and resized etc and finally if you place a token on the map you'll get a third toolbar allowing for various targeting options. None of these toolbars can be removed

Also if you right click on your map you get a whole bunch of other stuff.

Now, does any of this answer your question?

Actually, the Wiki is correct but it is badly worded (IMNSHO) - what we would normally call the Image Toolbar is actually several Toolbars which can be toggled on or off (the Masking Toolbar, the Targeting Toolbar, and Grid Toolbar). When I said its badly worded I mean that the individual toolbars can be enabled/disabled, but the buttons that allow us to enable/disable the individual toolbars themselves form a toolbar, and it is this that most of us would label "the Image Toolbar".

So Zach is right (as is the Wiki) - you can't get rid of these enable/disable buttons.

Incidentally, I cover all this in my Tutorial Videos, available from the FG Wiki and/or from the links in my sig, below.

Cheers

Hi guys!
Tks for your replies :)

Well, if you go to https://www.fantasygrounds.com/screenshots/ you'll find most of images without the toolbar and without the brown bar at the top. Maybe they are older versions?
I don't know.. I've just bought it.
I find a waste of space reserving all that space for a toolbar that has most functionalities available on the circle menu.
There's also this video, (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QAJzGKMEZA) where I saw the toolbar over the image. Custom made? don't know.
Meanwhile I was able to find how all the buttons don't appear on the image. It's when it's a player looking at it.
This can be seen in one of your videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QAJzGKMEZA (which are great :) tks )

Anyway.. tks again to both of you :)

Cheers!
