Hey, do all players in a campaign have to purchase things like the Player's Handbook, Elemental Evil Player's Guide, etc. Or can one person purchase them and share them through the campaign? I'm just trying to figure out how big an investment I have to ask of my fellow players. Thanks!

The thing that you need to appreciate is that only the DM (host) of the game can share anything with the players that join that game. So if you, and only you, are the DM then only you need to own the PHB. If one of your players also has the PHB then only they would be able to view it. They can't share it with anyone, unless they become a DM. This is true of anything that you buy, Player's handbook, DMG, MM and any adventures and also things like the EE players Guide etc.

It's best for everyone if everyone buys everything. :) Think of how much quicker the Unity version would be available if Smiteworks had the resources that everyone playing buying everything would get them! :D Do it!! Buy it all, now! ;)
