New player looking for a good group

I would like to play more immediately so the sooner the better. I can play a variety of characters including a druid, cleric, and a monk.

I've yet to see anyone looking for a bad group. :)

But all kidding aside you are probably best having a look over in this forum (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?40-LFG-Looking-for-Group) since it's dedicated to doing just what you want. You'll see a sticky thread up near the top that'll give you some idea of what kind of things you should put into your post (timezone being fairly important).

Also you'll see there lots of chaps and chapesses advertising games that you might be able to join.

You don't want to find a bad group - people don't show up for games and eventually the GM gets fed up and walks away from the whole thing to look for good/reliable players.

Take the initiative - post in threads where a DM has said they're looking for new players - usually for a 5E game, it is such a juggernaut that a DM doesn't need to take any active recruiting steps.
