A while back i bought a GM code account and 4 player codes.

With the new updates is there any sort of discount or conversion towards a perpetual license?

Yep - Your GM license is now called Full and your Player/Lite codes cannot be bought any more but they will still continue to work.
The holders of those keys can upgrade them to Full for about $23 I think.
Your Full License will continue to work and can also be upgraded to Ultimate for about $115 I think.

I see i was hoping to be able to exchange my 4 licenses for one ultimate.

That being said, if I do upgrade to ultimate. How do the others connect to me with no license?

They install FG (download here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/downloads/). Without a license key it will default to the free version.
