Port Forwarding

Unfortunately I cannot get this to work for me. I have an asus rt ac1300 router and set it up for port forwarding but its still not working. It did ask for a port range which i set at 1802. Im not sure if that is the problem or something else. I do have a cable modem then a router, do i need to make changes to the cable modem? Any help would be appreciated.

What you need to do is

Logon to WiFi Router and do TCP 1802-1802 forward to your computer IP address on TCP1802
Check the WiFi Router WAN Address
Logon to Cable Modem and do TCP 1802-1802 forward to your Wifi Router WAN IP address on TCP1802
