Just a note that #6 is wrong, you can fire up a second session and log int as a player using localhost as the alias

I know you can have another "local" login but that is as a player instead of DM and you do not have access to all the story and DM only materials. I can understand the need to keep what you will share on one screen but it would be nice if you could pull reference Windows to another screen. Stretching across 2 screens also helps but still is clunky. I changed the wording there to make it clear that you are GM and player. Thanks for the comment.
