I have a few questions about this module for anyone who has ran it before as a DM. PM me plz.

Why not just ask them here? That way others with the same questions can get the answers as well and more people will be available to answer them for you since making someone PM you in order to help you is not a really effective method of getting answers.

I didn't want to drop a spoiler for one of the questions but I found my answer. Also, I have never used a pre-made module and I was curious if I needed to mask off all the player maps before starting or if other DMs just shared them as-is.

I would assume masking off the battle maps especially large winding ones like the whorlstone tunnels etc.

Yes, masking the battlemaps - where appropriate, would be the way to go. You would only need to do this for the bigger ones so that the players could only see the bit they are in, and as they move reveal more of the map.

You might find this post (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?26799-Out-of-the-Abyss-GM-Discussion-SPOILERS!) useful and you can find some more maps for the module here (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?26028-Zacchaeus-Out-of-the-Abyss-Map-mod).

great additions to the game, I felt the module needed a few extras and I was about to make a few but this will work perfectly!
