Import Error

I am attempting to export characters from my existing 3.5 campaign and then import them into a purchased campaign. They export fine with EXPORT.MOD created in the folder. When I go into the purchased module and attempt to import it returns an error, unable to parse. I have only checked personalities and tables for export.
Please advise.

Personalities are NPCs not characters. In order to export characters click on the little brownish dot at the bottom of the character selection dialog and then click on the blue down arrow on the PC(s) you want to export. To import PCs click again on the brown button in the new campaign PC selection dialog and then on the blue up arrow.

Thanks. That seems to have worked well. Did note that it doesnt import the character portrait but it is easy enough to pick a new portrait.

Indeed, portraits are not exported with the character.
