We have enough donations to cover the first half of the payment (which I'm mailing right now), but we could definitely use more donations to cover the other half and other incidentals like elec. and internet access, flyers etc.

We also will need a few people that want to donate some of their time to help man the booth and spread the word.

I'll be helping the Smiteworks guys again this year as usual and hopefully demoing/talking about the Unity version (fingers crossed).

One thing I have heard is that the Internet is very costly and not the most reliable. Unless you really need it that is one expense you might want to compromise on.

Yes this will be our 4th booth the internet was expensive, although if you have Verizon data is free in the convention center.

Hmmm, I do have Verison, tell me more about this....Might be able to use that to have a live game going in the booth.

Something I have been wanting to do but wasn't sure how to handle the logistics. Would be cool to have a game running in the middle of the Con with some of our European players connected, so the Yanks could all hear funny accents coming from Speakers at the booth....Going to have to put more thought into trying this.

I remember the first time I played with people overseas, one guy was Indian, two people were Scottish, and one spoke Portuguese natively I believe. It was an interesting game. :)

That app is for Android. I looked and don't see anything comparable for iPhone, but will do more research.

I'm doing a light commitment GenCon this time around, so I should have more time to socialise. :)

Ooh, there's a idea for a niche business, start a bank that provides financing to people to a attend cons.... Micro loans are all the rage *G* Have them put their RPG collections up as collateral!
