4e - New to this, looking for a quick session to get my feet wet in.

Basically a tutorial session. I picked up FG a while back and I like what I've seen so far.

EDIT: Also I would prefer for it to be homebrew since one of my characters is a leprechaun, and leprechauns aren't a playable race in vanilla 4e.

Stay active on the forums and look for GMs posting games. Introduce yourself on those threads and see how you go.
It can take a little while to find a game - especially if you have specific requirements - so dont stress if you cant find something right away.
