Conan 5e

Greetings guys,

As i am an old school Sword&Sorcery style of adventurer, i was wandering if its possible to play Conan - Hyboria style game on 5e rules just using Humans as a race?

I also wanted to ask the developers, there are 2 Conan games, one based on 3.5e and a new 2d20 system currently in development by Modiphius. Are we gonna see any of those systems implented to Fantasy Grounds? i believe many people would love to have it! - Including me! (i know about Lemuria, but still it's not Conan...)

What do you think? it can be done?

I'm in the process of making my own 5e hack for it. Yes, it will only have humans as a race and certain classes. I intend on running a one-shot to kick the tires soon.
I started this thread (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?24553-Sword-amp-Sorcery) last year but it didn't get any traction. Is 5e the best system for Sword and Sorcery? No, I don't believe it is but I believe it can work. I already run one Sword and Sorcery campaign using Savage Worlds. I don't think you need a game with the Conan brand to make it work. There are many game systems you can use to run it. You mentioned Barbarians of Lemuria. You just need to use a Hyborian Age gazetteer and voila! In fact, this ruleset will get released soon.

We just had our session 0 and will be playing a few one-shots (sampling different games) to find out what works for us as group. For that reason, pre-gen characters will be provided. Once we've settled on a campaign, we'll have a character making session.

I may or may not run Conan. So much is canon that I feel I'd need a degree to run a pure Conan game. I borrow elements from the Hyborian Age to run sword & sorcery games though, a riff on the tropes.
