Well, left all dressed up with nowhere to go tonite... DM basically left me a PM to crank thru 14 level-ups overnite to join what was supposedly an existing long-term game then went completely incognito on game day, hopefuly not a real life emergency

In retrospect, for my part I do think I will generally avoid campaigns where the other players are already past about 5th level or so. Sounds like less fun that working your own character up thru the ranks so to speak.

I am already in a OotA campaign and trying to get in another one because the second one looks like it would be a lot of fun to play in. I will wait and see what happens with that before I ask to play in anoter OotA campaign, should find out over the weekend then I will update.
