Player can't update to latest version.

I have a player who can't update to the latest version of FG. The launcher button says an update is available but when he clicks it he immediately gets an error about not being able to connect to the server. He can still join my game and play even though I get the version mismatch message but we can't figure out why he can't update.

I'm using an Ultimate license and all my players free licenses.

If that isn't the issue, make sure the player start FG as administrator (assuming they're running windows) - right-click on the startup icon and select "Run as Administrator", on Windows 10 this might be in a "more" option after right-clicking. Then try to run the update.
