Images/Maps Greying out

On my last game, my wife's laptop (Win 7 Home, 8 gb RAM, I7) had issues. She told me that when anyone would move their token on the map, her image would grey out, and would stay gray until someone else moved. I'd never heard of this, so I wanted to check to see if anyone else had seen an issue like this, and maybe had a fix/workaround for it.

It may just be a graphics card/driver refresh issue. See if your wife closing just using the mouse scroll wheel to briefly zoom in and out refreshes the image. If not, see if closing the image and re-opening makes any difference.

There's a setting in the FG Settings for Mac/Linux compatibility which forces a full screen redraw every time. This may slow down the client a bit, but should fix the issue.

Ultimately, it's probably a graphics card/driver issue, as Trenloe mentioned.
