Unable to add gifted DLC Ultimate license to steam

Hello,

My generous friend gifted me an Ultimate license on Steam. When I attempt to add it to my Steam library, I get the error message, "This item requires you own the base game "Fantasy Grounds" before it can be added to your library." I tried adding the FG demo, but it doesn't make the error go away. And I tried adding the Ultimate license key to the demo, but I can't add install the DLC to gain access to the key.

Any ideas what I should do to proceed? Thanks!

Activate your FG key in Steam (https://steamcommunity.com/app/252690/discussions/2/558755530621472814/), then accept gift.

Make sure you didn't get gifted with an Ultimate Upgrade, too--that would require an existing full license.

The Upgrade is the ONLY one on steam. Steam requires a two step process, buy full then buy ultimate DLC

Yes - you will need to buy a copy of Fantasy Grounds (buy it on Steam for instant recognition by Steam) and then you will be able to apply the ultimate upgrade.
