Hey guys,

Just wondering if it is possible to use a laptop with a second monitor attached to host a standard in-person gaming session.

My idea is that the extra monitor would face the players and that this is where I would share Player info while my Laptop showed the GM info.

Or.. is this not realistically feasible due to desktop real estate.

I would also be open to suggestions on alternative ways to accomplish what I want without everyone needing to bring their laptops.

Thanks!

Pretty neat but my question still stands. Can one computer show both Player and GM data but on different screens or outputs like a projector.

Start another instance of FG and "Join Game" with a host address of localhost

You can then move this player instance to your second monitor and share maps, handouts, etc.. Assuming you will be able to see the monitor as well it will be easy for you to close windows no longer needed on the player instance.

Perfect! Thanks.
