I almost don't know where to begin.
Seriously, this tool has made my life a whole lot better. I'll tell you why.
I'm a globetrotter, always has been, always will be. I meet great friends the places I live, and I end up moving away from them all. Or they move away, since globetrotters have a tendency to find each other ... still don't know why.
So I usually have about 3-4 years of campaigning with a group before we have to split up. And I hate it. I've found great players and DMs and I'm leaving them behind, every time.
Not any longer.
Fantasy Grounds, together with Skype, enabled us to have a nearly flawless session last night, one person in Brazil, one person in Denmark, one person in England. Sure, FG did crash on occasion (though I couldn't find a pattern, so can't really post any useful bug info), but due to its frequent autosave, we never lost more than a spell entry on a spell list.
It all worked beautifully, really, which just about kills every other online RPG tool out there.
